I think it's really important to kind of address the team. That you're working with so. Whenever you see a job posting if. You find it on Instagram or on indeed or anything like. You don't know the direct name of the person that's going to be interviewing you like oh my manager Bobby sue is going to be interviewing me. You don't know. I think it's important to address the team so like. I put through the pure Lux team.
I think that's helpful just. Because it kind of covers. All your bases so. It in the doctor's office say to doctor blah blah blah and medical team or to the office of dr. Blah blah blah. I think that's a better way to address. Because I think. It feels more inclusive and then. You know if Bobby is interviewing you but the cover letter is made out to Jolin then. I just looked at my dog named Joel a nose like yeah let's let's give a cover Lord really. You know um to Julie and then. I feel like. That can give back and almost caused a power struggle between people and so. I think it's helpful to just stay as neutral as possible.
Whenever you're addressing people um so as far as the format of my cover letter. I decided to title. It in regards to the Instagram post. Because I think it's very specific to tell people. You found the job posting because. I think that kind of clues them and especially. If it's somewhere. That kind of sets. You apart you know. If it's just a random job posting that is on indeed or some of the other job websites. I think it's nicer. Because you're like I've chosen. You find it through social media or a friend refers.
You I think it's important to kind of let. That company know. You found them. Because that kind of makes. It looks like you've done your research and you've been interested in more. Than just kind of a flyby position um so let's see so obviously. You want to have an opening intro as far. If you've never had med spa experience or plastic surgery through its I think it's important to talk about kind of the physical and the mental aspect of things so. I chose to talk about how. I feel like. You physically feel good on the outside. It helps you mentally feel good on the outside mentally. It I got those flipped.
You feel mentally good on the inside that's reflected physically on the outside and vice versa. I think that was a good way for me to broach the subject of hospital to med spot and then. I think it's important to kind of have an anecdotal part of you know why is this important to me why am. I interested in this realm of Nursing for me personally. Because I had gone through a little bit of a transformation that's corny but I've gone through a little bit of a transformation and myself a couple years prior I've lost.
Some weight and that and I realized. How impactful. That had been for both my physical and mental health as well as just my overall happiness and so. I think it's important to be kind of anecdotal. You know be yourself I mean. If they're gonna interview. You they want to interview. You and get to know. You you know. I I don't want. Any of you guys to feel like. This is what you have to do to get. This job like make. It your own but I really. You know this to be a good like starting point for you guys but you know be yourselves like let. Whatever makes. You interesting and happy and who you are. Whatever makes. You special elevate.
That's because that's what's gonna set. You apart from. Everybody else. I think at least so have. Some anecdotal in there and I think it's really important to talk about what you can contribute as well as to integrate yourself into the team atmosphere obviously in the hospital you're working with a multidisciplinary team. Any nursing position you're going to be working with a moment canary team.
